Fort Lauderdale welcomes visitors with broad, palm-fringed beaches, chic restaurants and great shopping. Stroll fashionable Las Olas Boulevard or board a sightseeing boat for a cruise through the city’s canals. Excursions to the Everglades are available, where you can take an airboat tour of this vast wetland wilderness known for its variety of birds and other wildlife.

Aruba
Aruba is an island of contrasting terrain, from its white-sand shoreline to its cactus-dotted interior. The charming Dutch island is known for its superior snorkeling and duty-free shopping. Diving excursions include the wreck of a World War II German freighter. If you want to stay dry, try out the new sport of sand surfing.

The simplicity of this colorful island makes it one of the most delightful ports of the Caribbean. City and island tours are available, highlighting the island’s liqueur distillery. Travelers exploring on their own will want to view the Queen Emma Floating Bridge and visit the floating market where brightly painted schooners are laden with exotic fruits and vegetables. The island’s crystalline waters are also home to the Caribbean’s largest protected underwater park, with coral reefs stretching for miles.

This beautiful tropical island offers pristine beaches lapped by turquoise waters. The picturesque harbor town of Charlotte Amalie is known for its great duty-free shopping. The most popular shore excursions include island tours, a day at the beach at Magen’s Bay, scuba diving and snorkeling expeditions, and explorations of the undersea world aboard an Atlantis submarine.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas
Half Moon Cay is a private island shared by Holland America, Windstar and Carnival. Spend the day swimming, sunning and relaxing on the beach, or go scuba diving or snorkeling. Deep-sea fishing, parasailing, glass-bottom boat rides and nature walks also are available. A variety of water “toys” are available for rent, including Hobie catamarans, Sunfish sailboats, windsurfing sailboards and kayaks.
