A gazebo on the beach at the Royal Porto Real in Playa del Carmen was the stunning setting for the wedding of Corinne Fischer and Scott Ball on November 15 Thirty four guests had flown from Calgary to join the couple in the celebration of their special day. A guitarist played classical music as the beautiful bride was escorted by her father to join Scott and their guests in the Gazebo to exchange vows. The three bridesmaids were lovely, and the gorgeous shade of their light blue dresses were complimented by the deep blue of the ocean in the background. The gentlemen accompanying Scott, were very handsome and ‘cool’, despite the temperature being well into the 30’s. After the wedding champagne was served to the happy group as photos were taken, and the afternoon was spent enjoying some of the many amenities offered by this 5* resort. Some chose to swim in one of the three pools, while others snorkeled in the warm sea, and a few just relaxed on the beach until it was time for cocktails on the lawn. The sun was setting and a mariachi band was playing Mexican music as the guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés. Soon it was time for the reception and a delicious meal was served followed by lots of fun , as guests were invited to recall incidents they had enjoyed with Corinne or Scott during their ‘growing up years’. For the remainder of the week the guests explored all of the many attractions the hotel and the surrounding area has to offer. Deep sea fishing, was chosen by the groom and some of his friends, others swam with dolphins at Xcaret, and of course some shopped on the famous 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. This is a perfect way to start your life together, surrounded by your family and friends at an incredibly beautiful location. Playa del Carmen wedding nice. Sounds like it was a well planned event. Makes me want to go to the beach.
