100 0238February 9th to 13th I had the opportunity to be a guest of Carnival Cruises Lines in Miami for their Executive Agent Trip. What an experience! Friday was spent at Carnival’s Headquarter for a full day of seminars with the heads of the different departments. That evening we were treated to dinner at Waters Edge Shula’s Steak House compliments of Carnival Cruise Lines. Saturday morning we boarded our bus and headed to the port of Miami for a inspection tour of the Carnival Triumph – built in 1999 the Carnival Triumph’s Great Cities of the World theme makes every cruise feel like an around-the-world adventure. Begin your amazing onboard experience with dinner in the Paris Dining Room before seeing a Las Vegas-style show in the Rome Lounge and later dancing the night away at Club Rio. That evening we were transfer to South Beach for a wonderful dinner compliments of the Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Sunday morning we departed our hotel for Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to tour Carnival’s newest ship the 2974 passenger“ Carnival Liberty”. After touring this fabulous ship we had lunch in the Silver Olympian Dining Room on board the ship. Next it was off to Parrot Jungle Island to see a show and then dinner at our hotel. February 13th was my last day in Miami, breakfast was compliments of the hotel “Biscayne Bay Marriott” At 10:00am we boarded our bus and made our way to Port Everglades for the inspection of the “Carnival Legend”. Built in 2002 the 2124 passenger ship is presently sailing 8 day itineraries alternating between Western and Southern Caribbean. I believe that continuing education is a must in this ever-changing field. Attending travel seminars, doing ship inspections and visiting many destination keeps me knowledgeable and experienced so I can offer the right choices to my clients. Call today to reserve your stateroom on the ship that fits your lifestyle.
